03/05/11           900 Block Fairlawn Avenue                          Wallet stolen from the victim then suspect used the victim’s credit card and made purchases at Chuck e Cheese Restaurant and Giant Food in Laurel Shopping Center.
 
03/05/11           14100 Block Baltimore Avenue                    DVD stolen from Best Buy at Laurel Lakes, the suspect a 38 year old Maryland City man was arrested outside the store and charged by Laurel Police.
 
03/05/11           7800 Block Contee Road                  Four tires and wheels stolen off a parked car.
 
03/07/11           14800 Block Baltimore Avenue                    Shirts and jacket stolen from Macy’s Department Store. The suspect a 36 year old Lanham man was arrested by Laurel Police as he walked out of the store and the property taken was recovered.
 
03/07/11           14800 Block Baltimore Avenue                    Clothing stolen from Burlington Coat Factory and Macy’s Department Store by a 45 year old Stafford, Virginia man who was arrested by Laurel Police as he attempted to leave in a vehicle. All property recovered and the defendant issued a criminal citation.
 
03/09/11           Unit Block Second Street                  Garmin GPS system stolen from a parked SUV truck.
 
03/09/11           14200 Block Laurel Park Drive                    Ten Fire Plug covers stolen from the area of the 7400 block Van Dusen Road and Park Center Drive.
 
 
  
 
BURGLARIES
 
03/04/11           8200 Block Harvest Bend Lane                    Entry gained through the front door.  Resident was waken by someone forcing open the front door and after hearing a male voice inside the apartment upon turning on a light the suspect fled in an unknown direction. 
 
03/07/11           8400 Block Ashford Boulevard                     Entry gained through a window. Taken was the following property: Nintendo WII game system, Dell monitor, Dell laptop computer, Memorex DVD player, Sony 37 inch flat screen television and U.S. Currency.
 
03/08/11           7600 Block Stratfield lane                            Entry gained through a basement window. Taken was a Dell laptop computer and power cables.
