at Granville Gude Park

Outdoor movies begin at Sunset / Concerts begin at 7:00 PM 

Friday Nights throughout the summer, come on out to Granville Gude Park and enjoy a movie with the whole family. Bring a blanket or a chair, pack a picnic or grab something at our concession stand and relax for some great lakeside entertainment! Street parking is available on Mulberry Street. Please check with facebook.com/laurelparksrec for the most up-to-date information regarding the movie and weather. If there is bad weather, movies will be moved inside to Partnership Hall 811 Fifth Street Laurel MD 20707. The decision will be made an hour before the movie is scheduled to begin. Please check our digital signs, Facebook page or call 301-497-6397 for weather updates.

Hidden inside a smartphone, the bustling city of Textopolis is home to all emojis. Each emoji has only one facial expression, except for Gene, an exuberant emoji with multiple expressions. Determined to become "normal" like the other emojis, Gene enlists the help of his best friend Hi-5 and a notorious code breaker called Jailbreak.

The Decades band is a group of diversely talented musicians who can play great music from the 50’s to today’s great hits – from Coltrane to Beyonce, and everything in between! They are a team of fun, classy, and high-energy performers that keep the party going. 

FRI AUG 5 - EARTH, WIND, & FIRE TRIBUTE BAND

The Earth Wind & Fire Tribute Band is a group very talented musicians who primary play gospel music, but have a great love for the music of Earth Wind & Fire. They recreate the magic that EWF have been creating for over 40 years and bring a dynamite show that will surely get you your feet and singing EWF’s greatest hits.
