The Laurel Fourth of July Committee works hard year round to bring you the best Independence Day Celebration in the area! There are many fun events through out the day from Field Events to the end of the day's fireworks.

Come over to Partnership Hall and escape from the cold, and cozy up with the family to enjoy a FREE movie! Floor seating is available. You may bring your own chair but please sit towards the back of the room to prevent obstructing others’ view. Bring your own snacks or buy popcorn, candy, or water on site.

Join us for the opening weekend of our boating operations with our annual Lakefest celebration at Granville Gude Park. Games, food, entertainers, hayrides, moonbounces, music, and much more will take place. Enjoy a full day of some outdoor fun!
Visitors from close and far enjoy a day of entertainment, food, vendors, music and activities. Laurel is proud of its small town roots and close knit community, which is evidenced by the Main Street Festival.
This family event features Renaissance artisans, hay rides, great food, games for the kids and multiple stages where everything from live new music, spoken word and theater will take place. In addition to the stages the Laurel Museum will have pie eating contests and apple carving to name a few.

Dive into some summer fun at our Splashdown event located at the Laurel Municipal Pool. Games, contests, prizes, music and much more will round out the day. We will offer concession specials and freebies that you don't want to miss. Use your pool pass or pay a daily admission fee. This is event is open to all ages.
