1. Westbound Main Street from southbound Route 1 to B Street and
2. A Street will be CLOSED to traffic from Tolson Alley to Main Street
Traffic will be detoured from Route 1 SB to westbound Montgomery Street to northbound Sixth Street back to westbound Main Street.

June 18, 2021 - TRAFFIC ALERT: Effective June 21, 2021 thru September 5, 2021, Prince George's County Department of Public Works and Transportation will be working on rehabilitating and restoring the culvert bridge by Lafayette Avenue and Bowie Road.

March 5, 2020 - TRAFFIC ALERT: Due to a significant water main break there are a couple of road closures today. Please be aware that these closures are fairly significant:
* US Route 1 South is closed from Main Street to Prince George Street. Drivers must turn East or West at Main Street and cannot go South on US Route 1. The State Highway Administration is on site to set up detours, so drive with extreme caution and keep your speeds down. Avoid this area if at all possible.
* Fetty Alley is closed from C Street to Route 1 South for the same water main break.
WSSC is on site and working on repairs.
