Mayor Craig A. Moe and the Department of Public Works are proud to announce that the 2019 Public Works calendars are in! Public Works crews are delivering the calendars to city residents this week, but if you don’t want to wait you can view the calendar on-line here.
The Public Works Calendar is full of useful information about how to prepare your recycling for collection, residential special pickup and yard debris collections as well as information about what to do with batteries, light bulbs, electronics and CD/DVDs. The calendar also highlights the adjusted trash and recycle schedules when there are holidays or scheduled closures.
The calendar includes many City events including My Time With the Mayor, Mayor and City Council Meetings, Laurel Board of Trade and Parks and Recreations events. If you have a question regarding Snow Emergency Routes, Leaf Vacuum Collection Days, and Recycle Day neighborhoods (the same neighborhoods used in our monthly Recycling Competition), look up your street in the maps section of the Calendar. The calendar will come packaged with a few fliers and inserts from local organizations with additional useful information from other City Departments, so please be sure to give it a look!
If you do not receive a 2019 City Calendar before December 31, 2018 please reach out to DPW in January via email or phone and we will make sure a calendar is delivered to your address!
