With Columbus Day being a Federal holiday, Mayor Craig A. Moe has announced that City and Passport Offices will be closed for the holiday on Monday, October 9, 2017.  The Department of Public Works will be on an adjusted pickup schedule for this week:

  • Monday’s refuse and recyclables will be collected on Tuesday, October 10, 2017,
  • Tuesday’s refuse and recyclables will be collected on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, and 
  • Wednesday, Thursday and Friday refuse and recyclables will be collected as normal.

There will also be no Residential Special Pickup or Yard Debris collection on Wednesday October 11th. Public Works next scheduled Residential Special Pickup and Yard Debris collection will be on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. You can schedule a Residential Special Pickup and Yard Debris Pickup by e-mailing [email protected], using the MyLaurel App or calling the Department of Public Works at 301-725-0088.
