Mayor Craig A. Moe is pleased to announce that Laurel City Administrator Christian L. Pulley, CPM, has been selected to participate in the Senior Executives in State and Local Government training this June. The program, held through Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, focuses on developing innovative solutions for an ever-changing world. This accredited leadership development will allow the city to continue creating effective partnerships between our local government and the public.

Ms. Pulley will participate with Senior Executives from around the world in June to enhance her skills through a combination of traditional and hands-on learning experiences.

“I am proud of City Administrator Pulley for being selected to participate in this prestigious Harvard Kennedy School Program. Along with the notable networking contacts she will make at this training, it will also allow her to build on her already impressive skills to continue to lead and make a difference in Laurel’s future,” said Mayor Moe.

Under the direction of Faculty Chair David King, this interactive training “serves as a forum for raising difficult issues in a way that encourages productive and positive conversation,” using real-life case studies that will bring insights and help leaders to develop new conceptual frameworks for addressing policy issues.

City Administrator Pulley emphasized that, “this is the opportunity of a lifetime and I’m very excited! I want to thank the Mayor and City Council for being an advocate for professional development and allowing me to attend this training. I look forward to adding critical skills to my toolbox to continue being an effective leader, and building strong, resilient relationships with the Laurel community and beyond.”
