To ensure that the business of the City of Laurel continues to move forward during the ongoing pandemic, Mayor Craig A. Moe and Council President Valerie Nicholas want to remind the citizens and businesses of Laurel that our government meetings will continue to be held virtually.

This means that the Mayor and City Council Work Sessions and Meetings, along with the Commission, Board and Committee meetings, will be broadcast virtually on their perspective evenings using Zoom.

The meetings can also be viewed by tuning to Laurel TV, Comcast channel 996/71 and Verizon channel 12; on Laurel TV’s YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/LaurelTVOfficial or by watching it streamed on Laurel TV’s website at https://laureltv.org/watch-live.

It is important to have citizen participation with your local government, so before the virtual Mayor and City Council meeting, please contact Kim Rau, Clerk to the Council, at 301-725-5300, extension 2121, or email [email protected] to request Zoom Meeting Information or to provide written public comment.

Stay in the know and visit our website, https://www.cityoflaurel.org/clerk/meetings, and view the dates, times and agendas of each government meeting.

In the meantime, please continue to keep our community safe and wear a mask, social distance, wash your hands and get tested. As more vaccines become available through the federal government, Mayor Moe encourages you to get registered at one of Maryland’s mass vaccination sites -  https://coronavirus.maryland.gov/pages/vaccine - or get pre-registered at the Prince George’s County vaccination site - https://covid19vaccination.princegeorgescountymd.gov/ - and #TaketheShotLaurel!
