Audrey Barnes is an Emmy Award winning journalist with more than 30 years of television news experience.
She is currently the Director of Communications for the City of Laurel, Maryland.
One of her primary functions is to oversee the operation of the Laurel TV public access television station.
Audrey brings a wealth of television experience to her new position. She has been a Reporter and Anchor at TV stations in five states, and at three stations in Washington DC, most recently at WTTG TV.
She was one of the first reporters to reach the Pentagon on September 11, 2001 and considers the work she did that day some of her finest.
Ms. Barnes is looking forward to making Laurel TV the first place local residents will turn to for the news they need every day.
