THURSDAY, JANUARY 25, 2022-6:00 P.M ZOOM


Attendees: James Kole, Bill Bailey, Kyla Clark, Laura Christoplos, Tawana Spencer, Michele Blair, Jamie Wiesner


 


 


  1. Call to Order

    The meeting was called to order by Chairman James Kole at 6:06 PM.


 


  1. Approval of Minutes from Tuesday October 26, 2021 meeting

 


Kyla made the motion and Tawana seconded it that we table approval of the minutes till the next meeting since no one here had been at that meeting.


 


  1. Review of Proposed Mission and Vision Statements

 


There were no additions or comments on the Mission and Vision Statements.


 


  1. Report from Environmental Programs Manager

 


Michele discussed the Plastic Bag Ban that went into effect on January 1, 2022.


She stated that she would be presenting on the Environmental Programs activities at the February 2, 2022 work session of the Mayor and City Council.


She discussed the improvements in the Big Belly recycling centers on Main Street, and the new units which have arrived and have messaging panels which will be used to promote city initiatives.
