Second public hearing with possible actions on Ordinance No. 1989 Text Amendment No. 260, an Ordinance of the Mayor and City Council of Laurel, Maryland to Amend Laurel City Code, Chapter 11 "Planning and Development,” Article III “Affordable Housing Program,” §11-52 “Existing Multifamily” to Update the Affordable Housing Program; and Providing for an Effective Date.

Second public hearing with possible actions on Ordinance No.1990, an ordinance of the Mayor and City Council of Laurel, Maryland to add a New Section 16-12 Entitled “Tax Credit-Rental Dwellings Providing Reduced Rents For Elderly or Disabled Tenants” of Article I Entitled “In General’ of Chapter 16 Entitled “Taxation” of the Code of the City of Laurel to Provide for a Tax Credit for the Owners of Apartment Buildings with Less Than Twenty-Five Units that Provide Reduced Rental Rates to Elderly or Disabled Tenants and to Provide an Effective Date.

 

  1. Second public hearing with possible actions on Resolution No. 8-21, a resolution of the Mayor and City Council of Laurel, Maryland, to Establish the City of Laurel Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration Planning Committee.

 

  1. Second public hearing with possible actions on Resolution No. 9-21, a resolution of the Mayor and City Council of Laurel, Maryland, to Approve the City of Laurel Executive Policy No. 2021-02, Alleyway Policy and Providing an Effective Date.
