  1. Roll Call.

     

  2. Approval of the Minutes for the Regular HDC meeting held on October 13, 2020.

 

3.  HDC-032-2021 for 103 Washington Street, submitted by Marcus Ponder, request to replace an existing wooden wall sign from the previous tenant of 103 Washington Boulevard with a new wall sign bearing the logo of the Applicant’s company (Sankofa Yoga Wellness Center). The colors of the logo and lettering will be black and white. The proposed sign will be digitally printed on white RTG wood (1/2’’ thick), luster laminated, and measure 4’ X 8’.

4.  A tax credit request for 401 Fourth Street, submitted by Richard Stevick for approved HDC Certificate of Approval 027-2020 for replacing roof shingles. The cost was $3,382.14 and the requested amount is $338.21.

 

Staff Approvals:

 

HDC 029-2021 for 327 Montgomery Street, submitted by Elden Carnahan, request to re-place full view front storm door 80 x 32 with “in-kind” white trim and gold hardware, replace metal porch roof with same style and color as existing (teal green) applicant tried to repair existing roof however it was advised by roofer to be replaced. This will be replaced with a new metal roof, then painted same color. Lastly, replace seven (7) windows on sunporch with “in-kind” size, style and color white aluminum with no grids.

 

HDC 034-2021 for Prince George Street, submitted by Craig White, request to repaint exterior of house with in-kind color to include PPG aluminum asphalt on metal roof, PPG stargazer grey on siding and PPG sun proof semi-gloss white for house trim.

 

HDC 033-2021 for 201 Wilson Street, submitted by Stuart Grooby, request to remove dead/dying maple tree from left side of backyard. Arborist report states it is a danger to residence. It was recommended a new tree be planted on the property.

 

HDC 035-2021 for 400 Main Street, submitted by Margie McCeney, request to repoint foundation where needed with in-kind material/color and replace back porch wood step and re-stain steps in-kind color dark brown so they all match.

Chairman Kluckhuhn called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m., read the Opening Statement and asked for a roll call. Four (4) commissioners answered present, constituting a quorum.

 

Chairman Kluckhuhn asked if there were any corrections or comments regarding the Minutes from the Regular HDC meeting held on October 13, 2020. 

On a motion by Ms. McCeney, seconded by Ms. Lubieniecki, the minutes were approved on (4) four affirmative votes.

The applicant was present. There was discussion regarding the sizing of the sign. The applicant stated it will be the same size as what was there before, the rendering provided should be to scale.

On a motion by Ms. Lubieniecki, seconded by Ms. Frazier, the item was approved on (4) four affirmative votes.
