The star fort is surrounded by an outer battery with original Rodman cannons dating back to the 1860's. Inside the star fort structure are original buildings that feature exhibit and museum spaces. Dine on your own in Little Italy.

Senior Services

The Division of Senior Services, operated by the Laurel Department of Parks and Recreation, serves senior adults 55 years of age or older.   Senior adult programs and classes are scheduled at various locations in Laurel.  These include the Greenview Drive Cabana, Laurel Armory Anderson & Murphy Community Center, the Robert J. DiPietro Community Center, the Laurel Municipal Pool, and Partnership Activity Hall.  The programs and services provided by the department include recreational activities, educational classes, health related programs and transportation services.
