Exciting teen trips are offered to area teens, ages 12-17! 

All trips are on a first come, first serve basis and are subject to change or cancellation due to insufficient registration. Pre-registration is MANDATORY. The parent MUST register their own teen in the system if they already are not in the system. Once in the system, it is in there for life and you can register online anytime and anywhere.  Registration and payment for all programs/trips can be processed at any City of Laurel facility during regular business hours or online. You can register for all of our programs at the Laurel Armory, Robert J. Di Pietro Community Center or City Hall. Registration is accepted on a first come, first served basis. Refunds are only issued if a program/trip is cancelled. Registration and monies will not be taken on the day of the trip. Trip costs include transportation and admission unless stated otherwise. Parental permission slips are required for all trips. All trips leave from Robert J DiPietro Community Center, 7901 Cypress Street, Laurel MD 20707.

6202 TUESDAY, AUGUST 28 | Baltimore Orioles vs. Toronto Blue Jays at Camden Yards/Baltimore – Join us as we cheer on our home town team, hang with your friends and enjoy the National Pastime! Depart 4:30 PM Return 10:30 PM (or 45 minutes after game ends) COST: $15

6191 SATURDAY/SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 22-23 | Busch Gardens Weekend Trip – Get a jumpstart on Halloween and enjoy the usual thrilling rides, entertaining shows and attractions, but fear awaits in the Virginia theme park’s collection of elaborate haunted houses, immersive themed scare zones, challenging escape rooms and darkly entertaining live shows. The park remains fully operational during the day and transitions to Howl-OScream at night. Visit the countries of ITALY, FRANCE, ENGLAND, IRELAND, SCOTLAND, & NEW FRANCE (FRENCH CANADA) and enjoy the scrumptious, mouth-watering, food specialties of each (on your own) as well as the ethnic entertainment and shops. Annually voted "Most Beautiful Park. "Too much for one day, so this is a two day trip which includes 2-day admission, overnight hotel (Quality Inn), hotel breakfast, and round trip transportation. 6434 SUNDAY, OCTOBER 14 | Maryland Renaissance Festival – The Festival opens its 42nd season at Revel Grove in Crownsville, Maryland. Join us for food, fun, fine-crafts and frivolity. Let Merriment Abound! The year is 1529. King Henry VIII, accompanied by his sister Margaret, Queen Dowager of Scotland, Anne Boleyn and the royal court visit the village of Revel Grove as part of their annual summer progress and the village's Harvest Festival. Depart at 9AM and return at 4PM COST: $15 (transportation and admissions)

6435 FRIDAY, OCTOBER 26 | Laurel’s House of Horror and Escape Room – Laurel’s House of Horror and Escape Room has DC and Maryland’s scariest haunted attractions, all built inside of an abandoned movie theater. Think you can escape one of the Scariest Escape Rooms? Let’s find out! When we escape, we will also go through the haunted house. We leave at 5pm to grab dinner at Chick Fi La, and then we head to Laurel’s House of Horror. Return approx. 9PM. For both the Escape Room AND Haunted House! Cost: $30

6436 SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 4 | Picnic & Explore at Great Falls National Park along the Potomac River – Enjoy both the relaxation and the adventure of walking the C & O Canal path and the excitement of climbing the smaller cliffs. View the spectacular waterfalls! Take pictures of the spectacular autumn scenery. Take your own lunch, eat along the shore or snack bar is available. Depart 9:00 AM Return 3:30 PM COST: FREE

6437 MONDAY, NOVEMBER 12 | School Holiday/Veterans’ Day – National Harbor on the Potomac. Schools out so let’s explore the National Harbor on the Potomac. Sightsee and shop at the array of quality stores. Have lunch (on your own) at any of the top restaurants featuring foods from around the world. Riding the gigantic, glass-enclosed climatecontrolled Capital Ferris Wheel featuring breathtaking views overlooking the city is also an option ($15 charge/debit card only). Check out the majestic Gaylord Convention Center. We leave at 9:30 AM and will return by 2:30 PM. Cost: FREE

6439 SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 18 | Remember your favorite Christmas movie about the most magical time of the year! – Enjoy a theatrical production of the Broadway Musical, A Christmas Story, performed by the Charm City Players of Baltimore. Depart 12:30 PM Return 5:30 PM COST: $15

6438 WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 12 | Get in the holiday spirit– Visit the National Christmas Tree along with the over 50 mini State-decorated trees and other holiday displays-located on the Ellipse behind the White House. We'll have a group dinner (not included in price) at Washington's Hard Rock Cafe Restaurant. Depart 5:30 PM Return 9:30 Cost FREE
