The City of Laurel is hosting a Business Celebration on Wednesday October 24th from 3:00-5:00pm as part of MEDA’s Maryland Economic Development Week (Oct 21-27).
The goal of Economic Development Week is to highlight how economic development has contributed to Maryland’s job retention and growth, tax base, and overall quality of life in the State.
- During the Business Celebration event there will be a major announcement about Laurel’s Main Street and we hope you will be there to share in the excitement!
- It’s taking place at 3pm at Sip at C Street Flats, 24 C Street on October 24th.
We will also be showing appreciation to our local Laurel businesses who create jobs in our community and make Laurel such a great place to live, work, and play.
Our speakers will include Laurel Mayor Craig A. Moe, City Council President Michael Leszcz, as well as our special guest speakers Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation President and CEO Jim Coleman, and Secretary of the Department of Housing and Community Development, Kenneth C. Holt.
The event is free to attend and appetizers and refreshments will be served.
